Piotr Stachiewicz (1858–1938) was a Polish painter and illustrator whose work is closely associated with Catholic faith and devotional culture in Poland. Formed in the academic tradition and shaped by travels in Italy and the Holy Land, he devoted much of his artistic life to sacred subjects, seeking to present the truths of Christianity with clarity, reverence, and emotional warmth.
