    Carlo Dolci’s The Trinity in Glory is a radiant and intimate vision of the central mystery of Christian faith. Painted around 1640, the work presents the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit united in heavenly light. Christ, clothed in deep red and blue, reveals the wound in His side as He turns toward the Father. Opposite Him, the Father extends His hand while holding a tablet inscribed with the Alpha and the Omega. Above them, the Holy Spirit descends as a dove, surrounded by a burst of golden light that illuminates the entire scene.
